President Trump held nothing back while talking about North Korea on Friday, saying that the United States and South Korea are prepared to deal with the “reckless and brutal regime” of Kim Jong Un.
While holding a joint press conference with newly elected South Korean President Moon Jae-In, Mr. Trump openly told reporters that the era of “strategic patience” has failed.
“The era of strategic patience with the North Korean regime has failed,” said the President. “Frankly, that patience is over.”

“The North Korean dictatorship has no regard for the safety and security of its people or its neighbors,” he added. “And has no respect for human life. That’s been proven over and over again.”
Earlier this month, tensions with North Korea were heightened after 22-year old Otto Warmbier tragically died while in a coma after being tortured by the North Korean government.
President Trump is clearly not messing around when it comes to North Korea, and we couldn’t be happier to have a President who takes STRONG action against brutal dictators.
