On Tuesday, Vice President Pence unloaded on Congress after another sad failed attempt to repeal & replace ObamaCare.
While speaking before the National Retail Federation for ‘Made in America’ week, Pence urged congressional leaders step up and fulfill their promise to completely repeal and replace ObamaCare once and for all.
“Inaction is not an option. Congress needs to step up. Congress needs to do their job and Congress needs to do their job now,” said Pence.
The Vice President then re-emphasized Trump’s directions for the future of healthcare, saying that lets FIRST get ObamaCare repealed, then we can replace it later.
“The senate should vote to repeal now and replace later,” said the Vice President.
“We will rescue the American people from the disastrous consequences of Obamacare, and restore a healthcare system based on personal responsibility, free-market competition and state based reform,” he added. “That’s the American way to meet the healthcare needs of the American people in the 21st century.”
According to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, they are going to introduce a “clean repeal” as early as this week. We hope something good can come out of that.
